Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Associated Money, an online budgeting and financial planning calculation tool. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the service does
Associated Money helps you enter budgets, explore spending changes, calculate goals and compare possible options. Outputs depend on the accuracy and completeness of information you enter. We do not guarantee any particular savings or financial outcome.
2. Not personal financial advice
The service provides general budgeting tools and calculations, not personalised financial product advice, credit advice, tax advice or legal advice. It does not assess the suitability of financial products for you. Consider qualified professional advice when appropriate.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate registration information, keep your password confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for information you choose to enter and for lawful use of the service. Do not attempt to access other accounts, disrupt the service or misuse its systems.
4. Subscription and payment
The advertised subscription price is AUD $5.99 per month unless a different price is clearly shown before purchase. Paid access, billing dates, applicable taxes, renewal arrangements and cancellation instructions must be displayed at checkout. Payments will be handled by a third-party payment provider. We will not charge you merely for creating an account or verifying an email address. Cancellation stops future renewals according to the terms disclosed at checkout; any access remaining in a paid period will be explained in your account or checkout terms.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of information you enter. You grant us permission to process it only as reasonably needed to operate, secure and support the service, consistent with our Privacy Policy. You should retain your own copies of information important to you.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but may need maintenance or interruptions. Features may change. We will give reasonable notice of material changes affecting paid subscriptions where practicable and required by law.
7. Intellectual property
Associated Money's software, branding and original content remain the property of their respective owners. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is authorised.
8. Liability and Australian consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you supply, decisions you make based on tool outputs, or events beyond our reasonable control. This clause does not limit any non-excludable statutory rights.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful activity, material breaches or unpaid subscriptions, subject to applicable law. You may request account closure through our support contact. Data handling on closure is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated reasonably in advance where required. The current version will be available here.
11. Contact and governing law
